FTP – Advisory & Litigation Services

The Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) is issued by the Ministry of Commerce and regulated by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT). We provide the following services in FTP:

• Advisory on Export Incentives/benefits available under various schemes run by State governments as well central government.
• Identification of potential areas of non-compliance by way of wholistic review and missed benefits.
• Assistance in obtaining export/import licenses from DGFT, such as Advance Authorisation, EPCG licence, etc.
• Review & Advisory related to Free Trade Agreements.
• Advisory regarding restrictions in terms of items covered under SCOMET or specific drugs, plastics, packaged commodities etc.
• Review and advise on monthly returns and annual returns filed under EOU/STPI/SEZ/FTWZ.
• Eligibility of duty drawback or RODTEP or RoSCTL or other schemes operational under FTP.
• Study and providing inputs on various notices received under Customs, GST, SEZ, EOU provisions.
• Review of documentation of export projects including advise on various matters relating to export projects.
• Preparation of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), including checklist for compliance, knowing, and analysing risks, making processes for easy compliance, including documentation and record keeping.
• Drafting replies & appeals to various judicial forums
• Representation before all judicial forums
